Back when like everywhere would charge 18% for unclosed tabs at 2am if you had left already, we would just open a tab and let ourselves get drunk and bail since it was cheaper than what we'd have tipped.. especially drunk

1. Attitude of employees that have customer facing roles. I can put up with a lot, but if your people make me feel like I am a burden on their day for patronizing the place, I’m done. shite happens, mistakes are made, orders forgotten, etc. You make me feel bad for wanting to give you money for a product or service? It’s over and I won’t complain and I won’t be back.

Overpriced food not worth the scratch

I don't mind expensive food

But mediocre food with an expensive price tag? You can miss me with that.

this is the big one for me.

went to a restaurant about a year or two ago that was pretty good.
wasn't anything amazing or special about it. it was just good food.

but the price tag was more in line with a higher end steak house type place.

would definitely go back if the price was in "good " restaurant range.
but I'm not paying Saltgrass pricing for Texas Roadhouse level steaks.

I casually mentioned to the server my date and I were going to split the one of the entrees. They brought it out on separate plates and upcharged us for it. frick that place.

sitting there for over 30 min waiting for the food to come only for it to be luke warm when served. I want my food to be hot, I don 't like take out for this reason, also when ordering takeout, the styrofoam containers make the food soggy, fries are not crisp and chicken fingers are soggy as well. I'd rather eat in the restaurant than take out for this reason.

we used to be regulars at a local Chinese place for years. Knew the staff. They patronized my wife's business for years as well. We ate there lots of Sundays.

until.....last May. My daughter, wife and her mother ate lunch there and near the end, they noticed roach in M-I-L's water glass.

not been back since.

I do not like being ignored when I show up somewhere. Waiting five minutes before anybody sees me or take my order, I will walk out and not go back for a long time.

NO HOMEMADE RANCH. If you have bottled or pack ranch you suck.

Watching servers vape when they're obviously not out of sight. Constantly touching their mouths, then your drinks. And then stinking of weed afterwards.

4. This restaurant has since promoted drag nights to make workers feel more included.

That would be an instant no. If I wanted to dine surrounded by freaks, I'd go to my family reunion.

If a place smells like arse, I assume it's dirty and bad things are going down in the kitchen.

Bad service, bad food, overpriced. Ill even excuse bad service once. Could be the server. Twice and I'm done.

Lack of customer service. I have regular customers that come from neighboring towns to my Post Office because they know I will take care of them. I expect the same level of service when I am out and about. If the service is a problem, I’ll never go back.
The OP’s question did make me think of the King of Queens episode when Carrie was pissed that Doug went to the dry cleaners and restaurant that Carrie despised.
