I would think it has to be the complete saturation of technology into our lives. We had cellphones in the 2000s, but the dependence and capability of them and other technologies has advance by a lot.

SJ2, or as it will be known, Social Justice War 2. Circa 2017-2024. By then the telling will be told by old arse hipsters and late stage conservatives who talk of the brutal fighting they did during this time in the name of social equality. Having blurred the lines over the next couple decades, these “vets” will by then consider the conflict similar to the civil rights movements of the 1960’s, which will colloquially be known as the Great Social Justice War, SJ1.
