The Sooners are so convinced Brent is the guy and dont realize he is literally Lincoln Riley in reverse. At least it is taking them years and years to figure out they wont win anything meaningful with BV either.

You mean a field like Dodger Stadium? Cause I seem to remember a certain game 7 there with absolutely no trash cans involved. Marwin Gonzalez 4L
Reggie McNeal in a modern college offense would have been unstoppable. Unfortunately he was stuck with Franchione trying to run option for some reason.
I dont like retired numbers in any sport pro or college. Retire the jersey but who really GAS when a new player wears it?

For A&M the only one I believe is John David Crow #44

But for traditional SEC rivalries I'd say either Bama/Tenn or UGA/Aub
Arkansas three 10-game losing streaks since 2013 is impressive

115mph vs 85mph. Both get on you quick though.
Ehh no big guy a softball weighs more than a baseball.

That being said there is a difference in 115mph EV (baseball) and 85 (softball). Ultimately at the college and professional level the players make the decision.
Jordan crushes LeBron between the ears my friend.

Why the SEC, and not the Big 10?

Primarily because the SEC is the gold standard in athletics, despite the B1G being on a run in football right now. Then add in the regional aspect and some of the heavy hitters moving to the SEC and its only natural.

Campbell also played an era where the Big XII was on par with the SEC in football. Unfortunately Nebraska and Colorado fell off, Bill Snyder got too old and then everyone left for greener pastures so we have what we have today.

2007 Pitt v WV was one of the more impactful rivalry game upsets of all time.
Well its called 5 for 5 for a reason. Yes 5 years to play 5
Yeah... youre reaching. I think what actually is going to happen is parents will have to stop holding their kids back.
Good way to send a player to a rival who doesn't want them to do that.

It'll be interesting to see how it affects schools like BYU where students delay enrollment to go on missions.

There are three carve outs - religious mission, military service, maternity.

What's the issue this is supposed to solve?

Pretty easy, no more waivers. Much more cut and dry than the current setup with redshirts, waivers, etc
Most of them on both teams have been freshmen soo...
