Boy the tone in this thread changed real quick. Abooouuutt face...
The other crazy part looking at that schedule is WSU played a ton of today's D2 and NAIA programs. They also played in a conference tournament not having played any of those teams in the regular season. Also played a 3 game set with CSF after the conference tournament....
I thought season used to begin in January, some JUCOs do. But it appears the reality is they used to play a crap load of double headers....
Melvin Watkins is it for A&M. Four 20+ loss seasons out of six. Winning percentage of .353 and managed to top it off with an 0-16 conference record with two NBA lottery picks....
IRS #1. USPS most incompetent award....
They’re still playing right?
No, but they're 2-4 in SEC baseball and got run ruled at home today so they've got that going for them....
Got your shite pushed in twice this year by UH no?...
Both Houston bigs with 4 fouls now. Take it to the rack without mercy...

You're being outhit 9-3. Stop crying about the umpires you baby....
Some of these layup attempts by NW are reminding me of a women's game....
unfortunately in LA we are a poor state so its not like that. the major HS programs take about 12 max and some years take less than 10. you can either play going into hs or you cant. puts a ton of pressure to develop early and lots of pressure on skill acquisition at an early age, more so tha...
na apparently not. you are not making a team like catholic, west monroe, barbe, jesuit etc etc by playing aa ball. aa ball here is not good after age 10. gets really bad after 12, like really bad. the majors kids will be throwing 58-65 at 10, 60-70 at 11u, 68-75 at 12, 75+ at 13 where the AA ...
Exactly. It's usually an "injury" or they "don't like the sport like they used to." Never could be that they got passed up....
you are in oklahoma, we are in LA and i was speaking of LA. and no you dont have to be on a majors team to make a HS team but if you want to make a team like Barbe and actually play...you better be playing against the best in the state
Yeah I'm aware you're in LA and we're in OK. T...
Idk how this dog shite Virginia team beat A&M by 12
Ags aren't exactly an offensive juggernaut. Also had multiple starters out injured in that game....
"Travel" ball parent here. I'll echo the statements of a few here who are actually in it... there really isn't much travel. At least 90% of tournaments are played within an hour of home. And there is no expectation to be playing all year round either. Softball definitely plays more than baseball tho...
Wichita St (Eck Stadium) has 7800 capacity. Wish that program could get back to prominence as that's where I grew up and spent my childhood at Eck during the 90s. ...
