Usually on a date. One of my long term boyfriends was in marching band at another school, which sucked because none of my friends wanted to go to the games. Ended up with the girls riding around, at the mall, or at the movies those nights most of the time.

Once in a while I would be at my cousin’s in Bogalusa. “Cruising the Sonic” made me appreciate pretty much anything I did in BR very much.

That reminds me. In Junior high me and my best friend would play video games on weekends at each other’s houses. Late at night we could pick up this station out of Houston that played metal no station around here played like really early Metallica and stuff like that. It was called K Cu Cu Ka or something like that. I can’t remember the real letters of the station maybe some Texas posters do.

Combo of what most are saying. Occasional football game. Frequently drinking on a dead end road or in the woods with motorcycles and 3 or 4 wheelers. Always had older friends, so beer and tobacco usually wasn't a problem.

ETA if I was at the camp in By Sorrell, Friday nights would include cruising the railroad tracks in Plaquemine,

Either driving around looking for the house party, dead end at Giles, Taco Bell on Johnston OR….

Working the dinner shift at a pizza restaurant which meant cleaning up after and ending shift at 1am. Fortunately that usually included a few beers that had to be poured by our waitresses. Sometimes that was followed by college house parties since most of staff was in college. Or maybe going to Maurice since their bars were open past 2am. Or Outer Limits.

That was also West Jeff's home stadium-----oh, and it's Hoss Memtsas, not Memphis.

Named after Harold "Hoss" Memtsas who was a standout football player in high school and college and eventually coached at Warren Easton, East Jeff and West Jeff.

Either going out to eat and boning my girlfriend, or hanging out at a friend's house with plenty of alcohol, weed and other things. Oh, and lots of Golden Eye on Nintendo. Those were the days. You people that missed the late 90s really missed out on some great times.

BTW, I'm glad kids today don't find this appealing. I'd be horrified if I found out my 16-year-old daughter was out doing the same.

Either at Southern Club in Opelousas hanging out with buddies or at Evangeline Club in Ville Platte trying to avoid the fights.
