Going to football games or playing in basketball games at the HS.
Or playing indoor soccer at Mockingbird Valley (outdoor were usually Saturday games)
Once I turned 18, going to Jillians or TekWorld for local concerts
Before 18, also working at the roller skating rink then catching a midnight movie afterward
Going to field parties afterward (I thank God on the regular our social media at that point was MySpace and AOL chat)

I would go to the football games during football season but once junior year started it meant 190 daiquiris, bud ice, wood chucks, whatever. Would either go to the lakefront, the quarter, or a friends house.

All of my friends were allowed to come over and hang out any day of the week. There would usually be 8-12 of us ripping bowls, playing video games, and eating whatever my mom made for us. If she was gone, I would throw enormous parties, which she didn't care about as long as she didn't come back to any evidence.

My town was kind of small so I was at a football game every Friday night in the fall. I missed a total of two home games from around 1985 through 1994.

Cant remember really what we did the rest of the year, but it wasn’t drinking on a dead end road. In my late teens years I might have been screwing a girl on the dead end road. :)

During football season, our Friday nights were spent under the lights on the field. The rest of the year, we were cruising the streets of my hometown.

Yeah, my friends did that, too. If they showed up while she was doing yard work, she would remind them of all the nice things she did for them and made them work.

I had a few friends with less than ideal home situations, and she let them live with us. Hell, I even picked up a spare Dutch exchange student my senior year.
