What we learned from Covid: our society is not prepared for a true national emergency

Let us hope that this wasn't some intentional release to test the waters. Because if so, we gave our enemies reason to think a biological attack would work.
Four weeks in and the economy crashed, people ran out of "emergency funds", the government didn't know how to handle it, and the populace ignored any advice given by the government.
A true biological attack on this country would end us as we know it.
Tell me I'm wrong.

That's an understatement
We have a large percentage of 'tards that would be goners within minutes.

Who the frick thought the “average American” was prepared and equipped for such a thing before this?

Name one free nation that is prepared for such a thing?
Especially something that hasn’t happened in 100 years.

The correct thing to do was nothing except protect the vulnerable that account for greater than 90% of deaths.

The Federal Government has not looked very good after big national emergencies : See 911, katrina and now this. Its funny because we have all these gov agencies that receive billions a year for disaster preparedness and not one has been prepared for any of the events mentioned

No, they just handled it completely wrong.

Really? Cause I remember everyone staying home the first 2-3 weeks and thinking it was great. It was by week 4+ that everyone started getting antsy and more restless.
You’re wrong. And 28+ million unemployed are evidence that everyone followed the government’s advice until they realized we were doing the wrong thing.
You’re the typical Facebook sky screaming tard KAREN/Klerk that wants to revise history to fit your narrative. GFYS.

This is an understatement. Every person who died that wasn’t already at deaths door was blasted nationwide even though most were 200 pounds overweight and contributed nothing to society anyway. A truly dangerous virus would forever destroy this country one way or another.

You expect the overreaction from women. It’s the soy boys that scare me

People are more resilient than you think. The weak are just loud.

Yeah, we’ve all been going about our normal lives coughing and sneezing on each other for the past 6 weeks.
Idiot.
