That’s in the blind spot of my history knowledge. I’ll eventually do a deep dive, but I currently know very little about that topic or era.

9/11 and JFK conspiracies, Italian mafia, special forces (all branches) + Rangers, engineering "marvels" like bridges, skyscrapers, or some sort of ridiculous science technology (like the hadron collider or Voyager satellite).

History of nuclear weapon engineering evolution from the beginning until the 70s or so. Everything about all the experimentation and testing in the Pacific is so fascinating to me. Also loved reading about Edward Teller and Curtis Lemay and how they were true madmen.

Ancient history. From Paleolithic up to bronze age.
It must have been something to live in the Ice Age when the population of Europe was around 5,000 total people. You could walk for days before finding anyone from another "tribe." I've often wondered if they spoke the same language, and if not, how that was dealt with. You had to meet others from other tribes in order to have a healthy population (can't inbreed too much).

American history, AI, and quantum physics these days. I'm reading a book on the physics and entertaining myself with how much of it makes no sense to me.
