What stupid thing do you regularly spend money on?

For me it’s dog toys. I refuse to admit how much a month I’m spending.

Cigars and alcohol.

I don't buy much regularly outside of digital movies and physical movies, but I use gift cards (either from surveys, birthdays, or purchased with CC points at a discount) to buy all of them.

I had to check your username to make sure I wasn’t married to you.

My music projects. They’re a huge time and money sink. Every couple years, they turn a profit, but they’re usually a huge drain.

1. vices - caffeinated beverages of all variety, alcohol, and grizzly long cut
2. books - i buy them at a faster rate than i read them - a problem that has plagued me since high school
3. random 80s or 90s vintage shite off ebay

I buy a metric ton of books, but I try to read them all and don't think it's that stupid.
Otherwise, definitely my Fri-Sun booze/to-go food binge. Pretty solid on expenditures outside of that.
Oh, and foreign travel, but again, don't think that's stupid.

i try to read all of mine too, but as soon as i get close to caught up, something triggers in my brain that says "go buy ten more, you're almost caught up" lol
i also end up buying multiple copies of the same books, particularly if it's a pretty large, in depth history book which is most of my reading. i'll buy a paperback copy bc that's easy to manage. then inevitably, i'll buy it on kindle as well bc i'll want to read somewhere and i dont have the book. then when it's all said and done and i'm done reading it, i'll end up buying hardcover version for my library and giving away the paperback. so three versions of the same book, quite often
