A lot of basic algebra. A decent amount of statistics. Calculus rarely.
This.

A couple of months ago I needed to determine amount of fluid remaining from the level in a cylindrical tank that is set on its side.

Half full, full, and empty are easily done, all other measurements must be “derived” via integration.

I use stats and algebra daily, unfortunately

I didn't go into engineering because I hate math and wanted to avoid it, but now I do math just as much as all the engineers

Only basic math while measuring and cutting items, fabricating a few things, and perhaps determining how much sod is needed for a circle area, etc. but, with Siri available to assist, I don’t have to use math nearly as much as 10 years or so ago.

I have an engineering degree, working in a technical field. I haven't used calculus directly in 10 years. Now, the modeling software and such that I use utilities calculus. I have to have the understanding to be able to interpret when results are possibly incorrect. But I haven't actually done an integral or derivative myself.

I do land surveying in construction. My go to formula is law of cosines and using calculus in determining volumes for odd shapes of concrete. My equipment will calculate it for me but I don't trust it so I hand check the work.

I don't use calculus ever. That accelerated class in high school was a waste.

Mathcad Prime is a life changer. It’s literally the Rosetta Stone. If I had had this in school I would have been unstoppable.

Trig, basic geometry, a little bit of algebra and occasionally calculus but not often.

Statistics and percentages mostly now. when I used to work construction as a pipefitter I used trigonometry a shite load which was surprisingly useful for running pipelines. If I had actually finished my engineering degree I'm sure this would be a different conversation

That’s one area I need to get better at understanding.

It's simple. It's just multiplying decimals and/or fractions. Do it enough and it becomes second nature.

I did my masters work on population genetics. At the time I could quickly tell you the chance of a gene showing up 2 or 3 generations down the line.

On the flip side, it also makes going to vegas an eye opening experience. Oh that bet sucks. That bet sucks worse, etc, etc.
