Round and Round - Ratt
We're Not Gonna Take It - Twisted Sister
Honorable mention to Der Kommisar and 99 Luft Balloons - those songs were played everywhere senior year.

Had to listen to both. Great shite from the late 90s right there.
ETA: on that No-Limit Tip, one of our boys got nicknamed Dozia cause he always had that shite.

Hard to think of an Anthem for the 90s other than Teen Spirit but AiC Would always brings me back to my getting my first decent sound system in high school. Dirt was my first CD.

Graduated in 2008. From our generation “Yeah” by Usher ft Luda and Lil John would be a tough one to top.
Agree. "Yeah" is a tough one to beat, and still bumps if they play it somewhere now

I can't name just one song.. Too many to pick from..
But this seems to be a song that was always played going out.
I Got 5 On It

Melt with You Played at the ending credits of Valley Girl as Nicholas Cage and the girl ride away and pass the Sherwood (?) Galleria Mall sign.

Gen X -
We were supposed to meet up and pick an anthem, but all of us wanted to do our own thing, and since we don’t give a frick what anyone else wants us to do we just didn’t show up to the meeting.

Boosie's Set if Off is about as "anthem of a generation" as there ever was.

What about that first hot boyz album.
On Sundays during the fall and winter (when I was in HS) everybody used to go to this field and there would be enough to make 3 or 4 teams.. People would just go and hang out, etc.. And everytime I think about that, that album. It seems like every time someone would put it on and hit play.. And then every once in awhile people would go switch it on
Neighborhood Superstars.

Time Of Your Life by Green Day is another one for us X'ers.
That was my wife's graduation song. She graduated in '98.
