The setup for the games was: First game, pre Bertman era players intersquad, just for fun and bragging rights: second game, Bertman ex players vs. current team, serious competition.
The games were part of a fun weekend with reunion dinner, golf tournament and other activities. Prior to each game all participants were introduced to the crowd. Bill Franques called both games.
This was before fund raising was so large a concern as now. therefore it was free to attend.

It could be held after fall scrimmages end. Many ex LSU players work out at the Box prior to reporting to their assignments. When the Alumni games were held in the past, there was never a shortage of ex players willing to play. They made a complete weekend of the activities.

How many of you LSU baseball fans would be interested in reviving the Alumni games similar to the ones held in fall of the 1980's and early 1990's?
