I've taken a Toyota 1.5l to 238k miles. A 4runner 3.4 to 230k miles. A Suzuki 1.6 to 247k miles. A nissan 3.3 to 240k miles. A nissan 4.0 to 190k miles. A jeep 4.0 to 196k miles.

The most unreliable was the 3.4l toyota. And the 1.6 zook motor.

But in all fairness. I killed a cylinder on the zook and ran it another 22k miles trying to grenade it :lol. Never gave up.

Most reliable? Nissan 4.0l.

The vq engine is a work of art.

97 4Runner here as well. Had about 200,000 when I gave it to my little brother after I graduated college. He then totaled it the following week.

I have a 1988 F-150 4X4 with a 351 Windsor and C6 transmission, with 314k on it. I don't drive it every day, it's kind of my work truck.

My MIL drives my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has 165k on it, and has only needed regular maintenance.

'01 F-150. Bought brand new. Got 231k out of it before it died last year.

Only non-standard maintenance was a transmission overhaul, fuel pump replacement, and fuel injectors.

I almost miss her.

I've driven my '77 300D for over 450k (it is over 750k in total). I bet the old Golden Goose won't stop working until I'm well over a million miles.

2004 Chevy Suburban. 274K miles.

Kept it for 14 yrs. Just basic maintenance with no issues, though it was starting to get a little tired.

Had a wife and two kids when I bought it and it served its purpose. Told the wife to leave, the kids graduated and moved on, and it was just too much vehicle, so I traded it in.

No regrets with it at all.

2008 Mazda Tribute. It's got 236k miles on it and hasn't missed a lick. I still drive it back and forth to work and it's been as solid as they come.

1999 Toyota 4Runner. Same vehicle I learned how to drive at 16, has just over 251K miles, and runs like an Ethiopian. *knock on wood* Shes my pride and joy.

2002 Tundra. Still drive it at 165,000 miles. 17 years. needs upholstery work.

I was supposed to change the timing belt at 90,000, had it done at 150,000. Mechanic called me and said, "would you like me to change the hoses, they are original".

1987 Mazda B2000 truck. Drove it for 14 years. Replaced the clutch, gave it to my nephew, who later sold it for $800. He is out of my will.
