2010 Toyota Avalon. 187000 and still driving it. Comfortable, quick and rides great. Would buy another tomorrow if this one died.

Avalon

This is the car I recommend to people who want a reliable, luxurious car, but don't want to be "flashy" (their words) with a Lexus.

Excellent car with outstanding resale.

I think the most miles I've ever put on a vehicle is 105k so they've pretty much all been fine for the most part.

89 S-10 pickup. 5 speed stick. Kept the oil and filters changed and it never gave me a bit of trouble.

Just bought my wife a Camry that has a lifetime warranty on it
How does this work? Is it a lifetime powertrain warranty from the dealer?

How much did that cost?

1986 Ford taurus.

AC didn't work.
Radio didn't work.
Speedometer didn't work.
Odometer didn't work.
Driver's side door handle didn't work.
Passenger side window didn't work.
Gas gauge didn't work.

Engine worked.
Transmission worked.
Brakes worked.
Never did anything other than normal maintenance and it never left me on the side of the road.

300k+ miles until a tropical storm finally drowned it.

The page isn't long enough for how far down my 08 F250 should be. In hindsight, I should've totalled it into a ditch

Lol at people who consider Lexus flashy.. it’s the exact opposite .. nice, solid , reliable cars, but anything but flashy.. my last girlfriend drove one; i drove it a lot, and it rode very quiet.. but TOO quiet.. it’s like they dont want you to feel the road at all.. i like cars that are engineered for you to actually experience the act of driving .. then again, i like driving manual transmission cars the best.

2011 F150 First problem came a month ago at 195k.....replaced the engine b/c no matter how you slice it $6k <<<< $35k-$40k

$6k engine.. did you have the work done at the dealer? You can order engines online from Autozone and the like, and seems like with labor at a local (non-dealer) shop total cost would be under $6k.. not sure though.

Had a '98 Dodge dakota with a 318" that had over 180K when some woman ran a light and hit my daughter while she was driving it (I was oversea ATT). That little p/u just ran. I took good care of it, but it wasn't babied either.

In high school, us kids (four of us) went through a '76 Datsun B210 hatchback that just kept going..... Ugly as all get-out but it took alot of teenage 'abuse' and kept on running.
