Some move to the northshore to have better schools
This was the case 10 years ago but not so much now. Most friends of ours still send their kids to private schools on the Northshore.

The draw is Old Rail Brewery.

Yea, it seems to me that the people moving there now there will encourage their children to move out of state when they are of age. Meanwhile they are building all these houses and infrastructure, and undesirable people will eventually move in.

Ask David Duke.
He knows why.

I admire the optimism, but that ain't happening.

The Northshore has ok public schools but it’s overcrowded and is becoming fairly trashy. Doesn’t really do a whole lot for me.
You are right. I wouldn't recommend it. Stay away.

lack of culcha was the key, so it had less crime traffic and animal filth to contend with.

Unfortunately thats everywhere, even northeastern states that are like 96% white are seeing crime waves. Seems to me the country is cracking at the seams.
All you can do is live in an area where the police give a shite and the local government sees whats happening everywhere and takes steps to be protective of the community.
Edit: do i have someone following me downvoting every post i make? F U bitch.

Im on my phone but just Google maine / NH / VT news. Front pages about rash of big thefts and burglaries and residents who live in such a bubble they cant fathom who would do this???
New Hampshire thefts, and some couple out on a walk was recently murdered in fricking concord of all places.
Im only aware of this because I have family up there who are complaining about 'things getting worse' then I google the news up there and see that shite. You cant escape it, not anymore.
But
The funny thing is they are still in a huge bubble as that shite wouldnt even make a louisiana resident blink. They get more thefts and the occasional murder, we get shite like women dragged off in cars and dismembered and babies dumped on the side of the interstate by carjackers.

When you are from New Orleans and have kids, you would understand the draw.

Larger and growing percentage of NS people work on the NS with no ties to NO (not me yet unfortunately).
Public schools are good with even better private options.
No worries about crime at all.
Plenty to do without seeing gutterpunks, trash, and culcha shenanigans everywhere.
Parents/residents shut down wokist creep whenever it occurs (thats not happening in metry).
All that said, Mandeville/Covington/Mandeville are full. Try Slidell, Bush, Sun, Pearl River, Lacombe.
