New Roads, Madisonville, or St Francisville.

I would be happy to live in old town Covington along the river.
Nice area with a neat walkable are if restaurants, bars, shops, etc. Very few trashy people in that area too.

I wouldnt consider Madisonville a small town, that goes for pretty much all of STP. Before the migration of yats maybe but not now.

Google says the population is 789.

Small enough for me to consider it small. I am a fan of the area. I personally wouldn't want to live there because I prefer larger city style of living, but it is really a nice place.
