I yawn when I think of Dallas

The Dallas skyline is the most underwhelming skyline in the country and it’s arguably the worst to navigate downtown. Yes, Houston has its bottleneck parts, but you are on cocaine if you think it’s worse than Dallas lol.
the dallas skyline SHITS on houston’s lol

I hate Dallas, never had a good experience there.
I also dislike Texas in general, not because I don't like places in Texas, because everything is so damn far away from each other. You can't just make a day trip from city to city.

quote:Suburban Dallas is a purple region now but was a Republican stronghold up until the late 2000's. It was never conservative in a "stereotypical" rural southern baby boomer sense. The outlook of most people is/was right leaning (pro capitalism and family) though. A lot of suburban white moms have shifted to the DNC and a lot of the immigrants do (eventhough those are some of the most pro capitalist/pro family people I know).

How’s the saltwater fishing out of Dallas?

All I know is I took some wrong turn in Dallas and ended up on some interstate tollway and it cost me $17. It was super quick though.
I prefer Houston. I used to go 2-3x a year when they had Astroworld.
Houston is a great weekend vacation. Good places to eat. Nice museums.

I have no idea which has more trees, both are barren compared to the SE, but Dallas feels aesthetically nicer and less scorched than Houston.
The Houston area has way way more trees than the DFW metroplex. It's also more like the SE.

You seem very self conscious about living in Houston

I’ve lived in both and the suburbs of Dallas are just way nicer, more attractive than Houston. Also, the traffic in Dallas gives you options to minimize traffic issues…Houston does not.

I know more about Houston than Dallas I know there's a really good art museum in Houston which I haven't heard about Dallas. Not to say there isn't one but I haven't heard anything of the sort other than come watch the mavs..

If not uptown, where is the prime place?

They got that giant arse WinStar casino in Oklahoma. It's like they cater totally to the Dallas crowd.
No shite. Winstar on I-35 and Choctaw on 75 are only big because of DFW people.
But anyway, I end up in Dallas maonce a month but I don't hang around there as much as I used to.
