What is so great about Dallas, TX

I see people hate on Houston for xyz reasons and just give Dallas a pass on them for what reason? I’m sure Dallas is a lovely city to live in, but what makes it this flawless city that’s so special according to Houston haters?
1). Houston is definitely more forested than Dallas by far. Dallas looks more like your concrete sprawling city than Houston by far.
2). The Dallas skyline is the most underwhelming skyline in the country and it’s arguably the worst to navigate downtown. Yes, Houston has its bottleneck parts, but you are on cocaine if you think it’s worse than Dallas lol.
3). I get it, Dallas doesn’t get hit by hurricanes. However, it gets hit by snowstorms, tornadoes, and flooding. In addition, it’s also hot as satans balls sack in the summer too. At least Houston Winters are relatively mild and pleasant except 1 week out of the year.

Disagree but you have the right to your own opinion.

City limits? Both are concrete. Dallas doesn't have as many wooded areas because it's not in an area with a lot of forestry...

We've had this thread already. Dallas' skyline is fine

The climates are pretty similar with Dallas being more dry. I'd prefer Dallas weather over Houston or South LA weather any day. And it doesnt flood anywhere that I'm aware of in Dallas, but I could be mistaken

But have you ever seen Dallas from a DC-9 at night?

I live in Houston after a very short stint in San Antonio. I’ll take Dallas or Houston over Austin or San Antonio.
To my eyes, Houston and Dallas are both great cities.

I don't really remember LC being full of trees, but ok. Overall, the Dallas area isn't exactly a forest is all I was saying

Maybe it’s a nice place to live but I dread it when I have to travel there on business

I have no idea which has more trees, both are barren compared to the SE, but Dallas feels aesthetically nicer and less scorched than Houston. Given I'm from the most forested major city in the country, it's a particular issue for me in a possible move to Texas and I'd prefer Dallas to Houston on this 10/10 times.
Winters don't bother me and I would prefer a semi-real winter to perpetual swamp summer in Houston.
I have nothing against Houston really, but I think Dallas is all around nicer and more pleasant. If I was giving the edge to Houston, it would be on food, variety of areas to live in, cost of living and proximity to real beaches.
