They are just doing what they are taught by the priests

I see a more disturbing thing with your niece than what the boys are doing on the playground.

We've been married 14 vears and we run a bed and breakfast in Vermont with out adopted daughter. If that dude doesn't chicken out soon I'm going to start to suspect that he's actually gay

Sounds like a feeder school for Jesuit.

I will never read a paragraph like that.

Priests just aren't running the halls at any Catholic school I know of in LA
Too easy to make fun
I work at a Catholic Church, and except for daily Mass, the priest is never even on campus

There was a time, not so long ago, that Catholic schools were almost completely staffed by Priests and Nuns (with the exception of janitors and lunch ladies). There just aren't enough to go around anymore. And that's a damned shame because those schools provided some of the best education you could get. I had a lot of friends go to Catholic schools up north, and they always told me that those Nuns were much more rigorous than any public class they had. Most families couldn't afford Catholic school for the entire time, so those kids had plenty of experience with both kinds of schooling. Math and history were especially tough, and then they had take things like Latin. Lots of non-Catholic parents scrimped to get their kids into the Catholic schools because of the quality of the education. With the loss of the clergy as staff I think a lot of that has been lost.

My mom was taught mostly by sisters and my siblings and I had a few off and through school.
The sisters I had in high school were some of the nicest and smartest people I’ve ever met. The sister I had for calculus had a PhD in math and a PhD in physics. She was hilarious, too.

I remember that being a thing 25 years ago. Nothing new.

Dude...you just admitted to smearing with queers.
St George has a sexual identity problem going back generations it would seem.
How many of y'all were altar boys?

You should rephrase this.
Wrong topic to use that nomenclature

So 2 boys are daring to kiss each other. If either of them back down they lose and is ridiculed for not kissing another boy?

Kids these days have almost no chance of growing up normal like previous generations. I was born in the 80s and grew up in the 90s-2000s. Now I understand what my parents and grandparents meant when they talked about the good old days.

This is actually probably (straight) boys being boys in a homoerotic way TBH.
Most religious kids today are more intolerant of gay culture and it being foisted upon them than we probably were in the 80s and 90s.
My kids (who are devout Christians) do the same jacking around we did in the 90s but say derogatory, but not vulgar, statements about LGB that would have made me blush at that age.
ETA: to add context, my very straight son with a girlfriend at a conservative private Christian school, got in trouble last year because it was found out that his group of friends were giving birthday spankings to each other.
