Doubt I’m the first one to come up with this but I’ve always thought that starting at age 65, people should have to pass driving tests to keep their license every 2-3 years or so. And mandatory eye exams to keep your license.

There are so many old people who are blind as shite and can’t hold their hands steady but drive all over the place. Just so selfish and putting others in danger. Not to mention the thousands of people with dementia who are driving.

At 65 you should have to pass a road test and a written rules test. At 70 or so you should have to pass a eye exam and a physical where a doctor clears you physically capable to drive.

Freedom is worth dying for...I'm not talking about this imaginary freedom we are enduring these days , I'm talking about real freedom

Is there a state that doesn't require eye tests or an ophthalmologist's form for renewal?

No measure taken in the United States to mitigate the spread of covid-19 has done anything other than prolong its negative impacts.

Sending a lot of kids to big colleges (P5 type schools) is the most telling metric for a good high school.

We work too many hours. 30 or so should be what the standard work week is in the U.S. And retirement age should be 60 full and as early as 55 with penalty.

Nobody who doesn't pay a net of at least $2000 in Federal income tax should be allowed to vote.

Yes, because the impoverished, meth-addled rural areas offering poor educations and plenty of teen pregnancies are where we should all want to raise our kids!

I wonder if these old people are causing more collisions than non-old people texting or otherwise driving distractedly. If they aren’t, what could be done to test for attentiveness?
