OMG this! Every two minutes during every teleconference: “somebody needs to mute their phone, we can hear your kids screaming!”

I always thought I was a 'anti social' person. I've realized I have and enjoy more contact with friends on a weekly basis than I thought, and more so than other people. I miss it tremendously.

I've learned that I'd never want to work from home full time.

I had a recruiter contact me on LinkedIn earlier this week about a 100% remote position and I didn't even respond after doing this shite for 3 weeks

you have no idea.

about a month before shite hit the fan and all these WFH orders came down. I spent $700 of my fun money on some new fishing equipment. If i would've known I'd be working from home half of March and probably at least all of April. I would've bought a sit stand set up, a kbm, and dual monitors for my office.

Of course I have always known this. Actually I have always assumed more people are like this than not, but I just mentioned this because these people have been showing their true colors more lately.

anyone else's sleep schedule going haywire though this?

Mine was the first week+ when I was boozing every day. Got it under control this week simply by not drinking. Maybe getting used to the routine has helped too.

I've learned that I have gotten so used to a constantly changing schedule with travel, that I am not great at staying focused during long periods of the same scene and routine.

Today I had a thought that my rona beard might be a depressing reminder of how long it has been since I've felt like my appearance mattered. It may come off soon.

I've learned you can use coffee filters as toilet paper..But they must be un-used filters.

i have learned that working from home during normal times never has bothered me because there was always someplace to go during the day, but working from home during a stay at home order is worse because you know there’s no place to go and escape it.

I’ve also learned how grateful I am to have a job that I can work from home at.

I have a pretty nice home office setup but I definitely get cabin fever being in my house all day.

Businesses have trouble staying open when governments make it illegal to operate them.

Yeah, there was someone on here the other day who was trying to argue that people NEED gyms in order to be able to work out.

You lack basic reading comprehension. I said it should be considered an essential business as there are other businesses that are also open that people don’t NEED.
Never said we NEED gyms to workout.

I've learned that most people are easily swayed by "experts" without realizing these "experts" have a financial motive for spreading fear.

Surprisingly I’ve learned how little I’ve missed pro sports. Also I’ve learned that eating at home saves a lot of money vs. picking up during work hours.

I learned that when your oxygen concentration is low and it is hard to breathe you should lay on your stomach with the foot of the bed elevated and not on your back with the head elevated.
