What Happened To The Movie Industry In Louisiana?

For awhile it seemed like there were a bunch of movies being shot in Louisiana, then all of a sudden it dried up.

I know the movie industry was given tax credit. Did that stop?

My bro in law works for equipment rentals in Nola and can't keep equipment in stock with all the movies being filmed.

Louisiana capped the tax exemptions....yet morons on TogetherBR want to do the exact same with the industrial tax exemptions.

State of Georgia offered what LA was offering in tax incentives and some of the productions moved to GA whe LA lowered and capped their incentives.

Screw Georgia. We could've gotten The Walking Dead and been able to see Lauren Cohan's fine arse walking around Baton Rouge for the last few seasons, but NOOOOO!
