This was the basis for a lot of the metoo shite. Isn’t that the almost exact scenario that happened to Aziz Ansari? IIRC he went out with a girl and they both intentionally had sex. But then a few days later she claimed she wasn’t really comfortable and only did it because she thought she had to, or some shite like that. And then he ended up cancelled for a little while and even lost some huge career opportunity because of it (was it hosting the Oscars maybe?).

The real killer is something you touch on but don’t really drive home.
Consent can always be withdrawn, but it is legally acceptable for the withdrawal to be retroactive. Or at least, they don’t really press to confirm if it is retroactive. Doing so is now regarded as a wholly inappropriate legal attack of “victim shaming.”
Not a “from this point forward it needs to stop.”
It started with feminist therapists a couple decades ago flat out telling their patients that if they ever regret the act, even months later, then it was rape.

Just don't have sex if you or the other party are under the influence of any kind of drugs or alcohol. Much easier said than done sometimes, but it seems like that may be the only way.

I mean yes, it wouldn't take more than a second to cease the sex act but then you still have to get off her and get out of the bed. Especially if it's a big bed, stopping the sex act, getting off her and getting out of the bed could easily take 4 - 5 seconds.
In our current justice system I could see the woman claiming this was rape. Obviously it's absurd and should be thrown out of any court room, but the fact none of us could say with 100% certainty it would be thrown out alone shows how bad it's gotten.

I’ve had to fight a harassment claim on my Facebook profile because I never deleted photos in my album that *she* took over my account and put there. (With my bemused knowledge. She just took my laptop from me)
Never reposted it. Never attached attention to it. Was just hit by a harassment claim 15 years later.
AKA she went out of her way to look at my profile, and she didn’t like any evidence of a connection ever existing (even though she checked my profile). And it’s all my “fault.”

If you're talking to a woman and she says any of the following: trauma, gaslighting, feral, my truth, abuse, anything followed by maxing, narcissist, body count, therapy, therapist, anxiety, Lexapro, etc etc... get tf outta there and you avoid most of these type issues.
