Some use a true daycare while others have someone who keeps kids in their home. Obviously, prices can vary. What do you pay each week (per child) for daycare?

$290/week for the 6 month old.

$270/week for the almost 4 year old.

Tennessee has been giving out daycare assistance for "essential workers" since April of last year, so we have never actually had to pay the full bill yet.

It is going to suck hard when those benefits end

$180 for my youngest. This will occur for 1 more year. Once you add the cost of snacks for my 2 AND all of the neighbors' kids, it comes to $350 easily.

Five hundred dollar weekly cash salary for a nanny. She gets 6 weeks off.

$280 for an infant.
$230 for the toddler. Didn't have to pay much for him this past year because Tennessee paid for childcare for people who had to work during covid thanks to the money printer

We've been letting our 2 stay at home. The 4 year old is remarkably advanced for his age and has no problem caring for his little sister.

Are we also including taxes for public schools?

That’s what I pay for daycare
