Just out of curiosity, does the salt make the flavor more robust or just give it a hint of salt?

I don't get the Folgers hate and the over the top Community love. Yeah, Community is local but they did me wrong by dropping their private reserve line. I'd put that stuff against anything out there.

Now that it's gone, everything else they have is meh. Black Silk is right where it needs to be for the price.

I prefer dark espresso roast even for the French press or drip coffee maker.

Usually get a good mediud priced local brand.

Not a coffee snob in the least though.

I like it pretty much regardless aside from some of the fancy light roasts that seem so acidic.

Don't do Green Mountain that I am aware of but the Kirkland has doubled in the last year or two for me. You seeing the same?

Did not know, thanks for the baw info

Is this common at the big chains or just a local / regional product?

Mystic Monk Coffee (we choose the Cowboy brew). Brewed by Carmelite Monks in their monastery in beautiful Wyoming.

Enjoy.

Community coffee is like the chick back in high school who everyone thought was crazy hot, and you didn't get the hype.
