Because cardiac arrest isn’t a heart attack. It’s when you heart stops functioning. A friend is among the 10%.

A googolplex is the number 10^googol, or equivalently, 10^(10^100). Written out in ordinary decimal notation, it is 1 followed by 10^100 zeroes, that is, a 1 followed by a googol zeroes.
If you were to open a word document that automatically prints out when a page is done - and then type "1" and then hold your finger on the "0" (10000....) you would never be able to type out a googolplex. Not just because you wouldnt live long enough for it to finish, but that there simply is NOT ENOUGH MATTER IN THE UNIVERSE TO MAKE UP THE PAPER THAT WOULD BE REQUIRED TO DO SO.

Tom Brady has started and finished 18 seasons. He has been to 9 Super Bowls. He has gone to the Super Bowl in 50% of the seasons he's been a true starter.
He has played in 17.3 percent of the Super Bowls that have happened.

There are more stars in the night sky than there are grains of sand on all the earth’s beaches and deserts.

19 “unarmed” whites were killed by police in 2019. There were 9 “unarmed” black people killed by police in 2019. Those 9 unarmed black victims of police shootings represent 0.1% of all African-Americans killed in 2019. By contrast, a police officer is 18½ times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer. Black people, about 13% of the U.S. population, accounted for 53% of homicides in 2019 and 60% of robberies. The overwhelming majority of those murders are committed by black males between the ages of 15 to 34. So you really have a single digit percentage of the U.S. population (black males between the ages of 15-34) committing half of the murders in the U.S.. That’s F’d up.

Here's something that really fricked me up: there are more trees on Earth than there are stars in the Milky Way galaxy.
Trying to explain the possible combinations of a 52-card deck is always fun. It's 52!, which probably means dick to most of us, but it's a really fricking big number. Here's one explanation from Reddit.
quote:
Set a timer to count down 52! seconds (that’s 8.0658×1067 seconds)
Stand on the equator, and take a step forward every billion years
When you’ve circled the earth once, take a drop of water from the Pacific Ocean, and keep going
When the Pacific Ocean is empty, lay a sheet of paper down, refill the ocean and carry on.
When your stack of paper reaches the sun, take a look at the timer.
The 3 left-most digits won’t have changed. 8.063×1067 seconds left to go. You have to repeat the whole process 1000 times to get 1/3 of the way through that time. 5.385×1067 seconds left to go.
So to kill that time you try something else.
Shuffle a deck of cards, deal yourself 5 cards every billion years
Each time you get a royal flush, buy a lottery ticket
Each time that ticket wins the jackpot, throw a grain of sand in the grand canyon
When the grand canyon’s full, take 1oz of rock off Mount Everest, empty the canyon and carry on.
When Everest has been leveled, check the timer.
There’s barely any change. 5.364×1067 seconds left. You’d have to repeat this process 256 times to have run out the timer.

Those stats are just the registered guns. There is a lot more out there than what they publish.
