Honestly, most modern online-centric retailers are pretty good. Sometimes out of purpose, sometimes because they've determined that just giving you whatever you want is probably cheaper and easier for them (Amazon, etc.).
In my experience, the worst are bloated bureaucratic legacy companies (American Airlines, AT&T, etc.) or companies that need poor customer service to make them money - like crappy IT services subscription companies, legacy media subscriptions, etc.
One that that drives me crazy is my wife buying from little boutiques online for clothes or skin products or baby stuff. They have terrible, useless customer service because they're all run by vapid instagram influencers. In an age where everything is free shipping and lengthy return periods, she buys from these useless idiots that make everything a hassle (and then you complain about the hassle). Just because the owner is a hot girl who went to Ole Miss and was in a good sorority doesn't mean it's not rebranded imported shite I could find you on Amazon.
Sorry, rant off

Toyota Financial for auto loans. Have had 3 with them and never had anything resembling a bad experience when setting something up or calling with an issue/question. That's uncommon for a large financial institution in my experience.

Comcast sucks. They must hire the folks Popeye's fires.
Chik-Fil-A, Starbucks, and Steak-n-Shake generally provide good service. Costco does too. T-Mobile seems OK.

Chewy- Great customer service. Moved from Texas back to FL and forgot to update my address. Shipped my order to TX address. I called them, they overnighted the dog food for free and did not charge for the replacement bag even though totally my error.

I recently had to deal with Worx customer service to attempt to find a part for a trimmer. Not only did the rep find the part I needed but they gave it to me for free. I didn’t even expect to find the part I needed and figured I’d just have to buy a new weed eater. They were fantastic to deal with.

Airlines and ISPs are universally the worst.

Great: AMEX, Chick Fil-A, Trader Joe's, Avis, Delta
Awful: most fast food places in the deep south, Winn-Dixie, Hertz, American Airlines, any chain tire/car repair place

Same, and Verizon has been completely the opposite

Worst of all time has to be Ticketmaster. Anyone who has dealt with them will agree

Leopold optics is great. I broke my binoculars and they sent me a replacement pair. Then I sent those off to get cleaned a few years later and they just sent me a brand new pair instead of cleaning them.

Yea one time we got a rotisserie chicken and it smelled rotten when I got it home and took it out. The manager personally came to my house to bring me a replacement.
