Oh- regarding food options. There is a little shack looking place called Rhinehart's that everyone loves. Its average at best, but a fun place to drink beers. I did have the shrimp basket for $12.00- 6 huge shrimp fried up perfectly. I have to go to Augusta a lot for work and one of my local folks loves Rhineharts. They eat ranch on their fried tilapia- no thanks to that.
Ive been the last two years. First year we stayed at a Hampton Inn located in Thomson. It wasnt bad for what it was - think we paid 450 a night. Last year , we stayed in Aiken, SC. 650 a night for a shitty Townplace. It was awful. Both locations were about 20-30 to the course. My son won the lottery this year, hes already struggling to find something in Augusta.
Cape Town, SA. The wharf area for dining and shopping were great and the homes in the beach towns reminded me of California coast homes. Huge homes with all glass overlooking the ocean from the cliffs.
i did mine on the website and got it back in 9 days
From Lubbock to Miramar is a BBQ place called Evie Mae's. Check it out!
We stayed in Stellenbosch at Spier Winery for 2 nights. Grounds were fantastic, wine tastings and food was excellent as well. Stocked up on Spier Wine- $4.00/bottle US! Did a wine tour around the town and the neighboring town.

Just returned. Dine at the Westin Beach house. Fantastic service, presentation and selection. Rent a car, tour the island, so much more than just 7 mile beach. Go to Smith's cove for snorkeling , swim with the turtles at Spotts Beach. We saw 15 turtles right off the beach snorkeling. Go to Rum Point and you can snorkel with stingrays off the beach for free and Starfish point is cool too.
Drive to Hell, Go have lunch/drinks at Macabuca Tiki bar- you can swim/snorkel right off the Tiki Bar then pop back for some drinks, etc.
The downtown area ( where the cruise ships tender in) is the worst part of the island.
Just sold one on Marketplace. Then the next day they call my Mom and ask if she will take car back because they didnt realize it took premium fuel. Unbelievable!

And I would include up to Englewood.
If the phone has sudden unusual movements it sends a text alert out about it being a crash, or dropped phone with hard impact asking you to check on the person and sends the location as well in text

Lagerheads beach bar. At the end of Duval. Just a little place, but toes in the sand and great views.
Planning mid August trip. We want to stay in smaller beach towns along the Algarves and along the coast of Spain towards Seville. Anyone have recommendations on hidden towns or must sees along the route? Thanks.

Siesta Key is consistently rating top beach by Dr. Beach. Its crushed quartz, so it stays cool on the feet, soft and white sand. TI, as mentioned is great- of the few legal to drink on the beach places. St. pete Beach is nice as well. Not a fan of Long boat Key- too small of a beach.
My 85 yo Mom plays the " my son is a LT " every time she got pulled over or wrecked. Its gotten to the point where hes told her " do not use my name again". We pulled her DL this year and shes off the roads now!

Dulce Dough Bakery - great breakfast spot. Palmers Village cafe is excellent for brunch or breakfast- usually a wait there. As mentioned the Brewery had good food and different than typical brewery offerings.
The best bar on the island is in the lobby of a hotel on SSI. Village Inn and Pub- mostly locals there. Also the King and Prince hotel has a great lobby bar and dining with beautiful views.

Just ate at LeRoy and Lewis. Their sides are a step up from normal BBQ joints. Enjoyed the place. Line was 1.5 hours long. They have 1 server, 1 meat cutter and one cashier. That part sucked.
On the East coast, Boca Raton is the place to go. Clean, upscale, nice bike trail great dining scene.
I pretty much fly weekly with SW even now. Currently, nothing service wise or seating wise has changed yet. Carry on bags are the only issue that Ive noticed, but being A preferred, it has not affected me. Lots of gate checked bags and more preboarders!

Cant help yet. Going with 16 folks in September for a BD party. Have a house rented on a hill overlooking the water. Its called Compass House in Tamarindo. We have an excursion planned every day in/around Tamarindo. We have all been to the jungle part of CR, so this will be a new experience.
