It should be illegal to be that fat honestly.

A drain on our health insurance premiums. Companies should be able to refuse insurance to these people..

well given your body can only burn about 1800 calories per day, an extra 1k calories a day would mean she would gain a pound every 3 days or so, so yes.

90% of fat people have no idea how many calories they eat or how to estimate.

Hell, most people in general dont.

I never cease to be appalled at the senseless and mean spirited comments I see on TD. I really feel sorry for these morbidly obese folks. They simply cannot control their eating. Seems like medical science could find a way short-out or dampen that "eating impulse"someway, then figure out a way to speed up their matabolism.

Living in a culture obsessed with looking slim and trim and sexing is hard.

First, be 100% honest with yourself

Morbidly obese people have a mental issue with food. These people seem to lack the ability to handle life. Most say they eat when stressed. A little key piece of info.. every person in the world is stressed but most don't go to food to deal with stress. Exercise is a great stress medicine.

Obese people this size are completely dishonest with themselves and those around them, even those trying to help them.

They have zero self control, zero motivation, and eating food outweighs everything else in decisions.

Fix the mental issue before you can fix the body.

I eat a shite load of bad food and am not that fat. I’m not proud of it at all, but damn...I have no idea how someone gets that big.

We already have foods known to suppress ghrelin. These land whales aren’t eating those Whole Foods they are eating trash.

When other peoples' action affect me, yes I do care.

Same reason I care when other people drink and drive. I would rather my family and I not die to a drunk driver.

I use to be fat and do feel bad for people like this. Binge eating is a disorder just like alcohol and drugs.

Now what I don’t have sympathy for is people who don’t do anything about it

People who ignore what is a huge drain on society both medically and financially while berating those who point out the problem are the scum of the earth.
