There is nothing good about trying to normalize homeless people and drug addicts. Libertarians’ paradise just ensures the public is demoralized and businesses fail.

The new rules reverse an open-door policy put in place in 2018, after two Black men were arrested at a Philadelphia Starbucks where they had gone for a business meeting. The individual store had a policy of asking non-paying customers to leave, and the men hadn’t bought anything. But the arrest, which was caught on video, was a major embarrassment for the company.
Don’t forget ther $26M dollar racial discrimination lawsuit they lost for firing the white manager that wasn’t even at the store when it happened. I didn’t click the link, but I’m guessing the story you shared didn’t mention that part

For random out-of-towners, but you still might want to call again, Randazzo's King Cake.
That Door Dash deal is a good one...

The only thing they realized is their sales have been declining.

I sure need to search that starbucks thread on the other football sight... Cause the members and the Mods sure gave me hell for saying it was a bad Idea and pretty much called me racist...
But when Starbucks says this:
all I can say is: "Bwwaaahahahahahahahaha"
But when Starbucks says this:
quote:
Since then, though, employees and customers have struggled with unruly and even dangerous behavior in stores. In 2022, Starbucks closed 16 stores around the country — including six in Los Angeles and six in its hometown of Seattle — for repeated safety issues, including drug use and other disruptive behaviors that threatened staff.
all I can say is: "Bwwaaahahahahahahahaha"

What’s with all these businesses going non-woke all of a sudden? Did they all get a memo or what?

It’s like every other generation of idealist leftists have to be taught the same lesson again in perpetuity. A lot of our fellow humans really suck and would bleed you dry to feed their uselessness and laziness. It’s a tale as old as time.

It makes me so happy to see all of these woke companies finally course correcting

Never tried their specialty coffee but their regular coffee is nasty.
It tastes burned.
It’s overpriced and tastes bad, the only people who buy it have to be masochists or just don’t know what quality coffee tastes like.

Funny how I have never seen drug use in a public restroom in the south.
But we are the degenerates and uneducated to those people out west

The narrative about the south is starting to change. Everyone can see who the degenerates are now.

What a reputation the west coast has built. Such a shame because it’s a beautiful part of the world in all honesty
