A few weeks ago my dog had some digestive issues and need to go diarrhea at 3 in the morning, so I took her out and the retired couple across the street were sitting on their front porch just chilling. I didn’t have my glasses in so I couldn’t see them all that well, but we waved to each other.

We’ve been neighbors nearly 20 years and that’s the weirdest thing I’ve seen from them.

Neighbors across the street are Asian. They have two kids. The Asian granny and white grandpa come over once a week. Every time they get out of the car, the grandma yells and screams at the grandpa and he sits there looking abused. Then they walk inside.

The neighbors to the right of us have two small little kids. They order Door Dash or Uber eats every meal, order their groceries, get packages delivered every day. I don't know if they are covid wackos or just don't like leaving the house.

The neighbors to the left of us are cool. EXCEPT. The husband is going through a midlife crisis and just bought a really loud Jaquar. I don't mind the car but the fact that he leaves his house between 5-6am every day and starts his car up sounding like a monster truck is not cool.

Pretends I don't exist. She's never acknowledged me or my wife once. I still catch myself waving to her sometimes and she just stares straight ahead. Her kid is a little shite stain too.

Sit in their garages all day every day. Awkward when I’m trying to run, and they watch me.

Our odd neighbor passed away right after Ida, so no longer have too many weird goings-on.

We have been throwing a NYE party for 10 years now, and it wasn't until last year that she totally freaked out over it. She spent the next 2-3 months getting into her vehicle at all times of the night and day, and laying on her horn for multiple minutes at a time. This was her "getting back at us" for the fireworks and guests' cars.

I'd wake up at 1AM to the faint sound of a horn. She drove a Kia Soul, so the horn was dinky and you had to listen hard to hear it.

Before she died, she did some really strange things even for her in the days leading up to it.. But her dying pretty much explains why.

Are we neighbors? Mine do the same but he runs shirtless after his CrossFit. Most of my neighbors are old, retired men.

Older neighbors who have lived in this house for a LONG time. One carport. They constantly are swapping their vehicles to let one or the other out. That would drive me crazy.

Same people have their washer and dryer under carport in closet. Must have a TON of stuff in their because every weekend the wife piles stuff on the hood of her car in order to be able to wash clothes.

One side of me is a great dude. other side is really strange people. They never speak, and must have foster children because there is always a couple of different kids that come and go along with their own kids. When the kids play outside it actually sounds like someone is tearing them limb from limb. constant screaming and shrieking. First few times it happened I actually ran outside to see if someone was hurt. Gets old after a while.

They don’t seem to have much in common, so it’s kind of weird.

they are both closet lesbians so that's pretty common ground.

I love all my neighbors. One is an an old retired guy that makes a garden and gives me stuff. One is a shade tree mechanic that has any tool i need, he made a complete steering system for my sons mud boat and didnt charge him a penny. One is just a good ole baw with a wife and cool kid. One owns a construction company and keeps miller lite in business, one is an engineer at plant.

Guess the weirdest is this cat thats new to the hood, him and his wife are never OUTSIDE. Me and another neighbor went to help him put up his shutters for IDA and he went inside and made his wife finish.

We have what we call the naked neighbor. If the temp is warm enough for him, he strips and jumps into his pool - every afternoon. He's 350-400 lbs. We can hear the splash indoors if the TV is off or the volume is low.
