Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama need to be apart of Tornado Alley now. There is some seriously bad weather every single spring in this region. Tornados and extremely severe weather

Don’t leave out SWLA. We’re getting a piece of this too

Have a couple beers and turn on the weather channel.

Hopefully nothing like this will happen this weekend, but I recall about five days or so before the super outbreak of tornadoes on April 27, 2011 around here, it was being mentioned as possibly being bad. Computer models had some of the values "off the charts".

We'll discuss the entire state as it gets closer in. Just pointing out N LA since they have the highest risk.

BTW, Zach Fradella is a good follow, especially over in SWLa.

It's moving East towards MS and AL Saturday night and into Sunday, also.

It's nothing crazy like that, thankfully. I hope to never see another 45% hatched tornado probability from the SPC again.

ETA: We'll cover the whole region!

Or create a "Dixie Alley", or something similar.

Dixie Alley. All the tornadoes of tornado alley, rain wrapped and obscured by trees.

Plus good chunks of Dixie Alley have hilly terrain which can further obscure them.
