Watch Board - Panerai Submersible Elux

Got an email from Panerai about this one yesterday. Didn't pay much attention but just looked.
Apparently it has a LED function that can be used for up to 30min, which is interesting to say the least. Super cool that they are using mechanical power conversion to do this.
Unclear if this P.9010/EL movement hacks.
While this seems super advanced and interesting, the price tag is $96,300
Any OT ballers gonna hit the bid on this one?

Mine uses radium, no mechanical power necessary

I would be interested in buying one of those!
“$96000”
Never mind.

I know the purists are gonna get on me for this one but Panerai looks like dog arse 99% of the time. It just doesn't do anything for me

This one isn't for me looks wise, but I do like them (and own one). But I appreciate Panerai's are very polarizing. I certainly have brands i'm not a buyer of at any price.

My G Shock harvests waves sent out by a star 94 million miles away to do this exact same thing whilst syncing to the atomic clock 3 times a day. All for $150 dollars.

It definitely is a polarizing watch but I like them. My next watch will be a Luminor

Stolen from the Omega subreddit. Speedy available to Navy test pilots. Will eventually be available thru the unit program. Has better water resistance than the Professional too.

I have a 15 year old pam 111. Don't wear it much any more but I still like it. I think simpler is better with Panerai.

Will get my chauffeur one for Xmas. Maybe the pilot as well if the bonus is decent.

Apologies for hijacking your thread...but...
What's the best way of selling or finding out the market value on a Rolex 34mm "Date" watch? From what I understand, they no longer make the 34mm - does that do anything for the value?

EVERYTIME there is a watch thread first thing that comes to mind is grandpas gold Rolex from pulp fiction and how he wasn’t gonna let some gooks have his watch so he hid it in his arse for 5 years

Get the Model # or Serial # and find out the date of production. Certain references have inflated values due to their rarity.
Once you know the model and production date, the information you are looking for is easy to obtain from Chrono24 and several other similar sites.
