Was a motive ever released for the Las Vegas shooting?

I know that Paddock left a message, was it ever revealed what it said? Or do we know any sort of motive? The whole thing disappeared pretty quickly unlike literally every other mass shooting in the US.

Almost nothing in the official report makes sense. I think they covered up whatever really happened.

I legit wonder about this at least once a week. Mainly because of how quickly “we” have moved on from this horrific and unprecedented event. Simply amazing of how little has been released. I literally know twice as much about the Bin Laden mission, the Boston Marathon bombings, 9-11, etc than this event. Stinks to high heaven

Before this even happened I kinda wondered if someone would go out like this without explanation, so the fact it may have happened doesn't necessarily spark conspiracy in me.

I honestly think that since it occurred in a premier vacation destination location that the Vegas powers that be have really pushed to keep this whole thing on the down low, to not let Vegas be known as "the place where a bunch of people were shot and killed".
I'm quite certain had this same event happened at a routine amphitheater in middle America, the place would be shut down and we'd hear all about it

It’s hard to believe an unhinged crazy frick had such an elaborate plan. If you’re that crazy, why not just walk into the hotel/casino with hundreds of people and start unloading?

They showed the footage of him bringing it in. It was little by little, in luggage, over the course of days/weeks.

I think they did release footage of hotel security showing him making several trips up to his room with large bags.
