I think the better question might be why no motive was ever released.

That was pretty much my question

Before this even happened I kinda wondered if someone would go out like this without explanation, so the fact it may have happened doesn't necessarily spark conspiracy in me.

It’s hard for people to grasp that there isn’t always an answer, or a reason.

Sometimes people commit senseless acts. Happens all the time.

That said, I would like to at least know more about this because it seemingly just went quiet.

Like Charles Whitman in the 60's(although his autopsy did reveal a brain tumor)...some humans go nuts and do a lot of damage.

This incident intrigues me a lot. I followed that OT thread from the beginning. I was up late, couldn’t sleep, and remember the first page. Basically mentioned a mass shooting at a Vegas music festival, details were going to be released. I flipped to a news channel and it hadn’t even hit yet.

The next few days were absolutely crazy. His brother’s interview was weird. Then there was the story about him being a high roller, and some Asian girlfriend.

There’s definitely something that was covered up.

There's a Saudi angle to this. There's been chatter that this was a failed assassination attempt on the Saudi Crown Prince and the shooting was to disguise this fact.

It was talked about for a few months on various news outlets, message boards, conspiracy boards, sports boards, and articles in print and online. How much should they talk about it to satisfy your needs?

where was the footage of him entering the hotel with his bags / gear?

He talked some do nothing hotel worker In to letting him use the freight elevator. They had video of him bringing in duffel bags on a cart. He was well known in that casino. I truly believe that they know a lot more than what they have put out

Ellen got the only live interview with the security guard, who left the country after the incident and returned to be pitched softball questions from the host of Game of Games.

This disappeared much quicker than Sandy Hook, the Aurora theater shooting, the Parkland school shooting, and many others. That makes no sense based on how many people lost their lives, and the fact that it was a new type of mass shooting.

Imagine having lost a love one that night and not be given any answers, has to be excruciating. I have no doubt there is more than we've been told, maybe our great great grandchildren will read the real story in some classified info dump in 50 or 60 years.

I legit wonder about this at least once a week. Mainly because of how quickly “we” have moved on from this horrific and unprecedented event. Simply amazing of how little has been released. I literally know twice as much about the Bin Laden mission, the Boston Marathon bombings, 9-11, etc than this event. Stinks to high heaven

Any random black dude getting shot gets more news coverage than 400+ people getting shot at a music festival

Just another nut that felt like he'd been cheated in life and hated everyone else for it. In his case, a bit more so, perhaps.

I think there's a possibility that this guy was suicidal but had some very deeply held sociopathy along with a desire to create a terrifying enigma. There had never been a mass murder before this that had no admitted nor discernable motive. That's far more difficult to deal with after the fact than knowing why he did it. Profilers have always been gathering data to try to sniff something like this out before it happens and it's easier for the general public to feel safe if it's a possibility to understand why. I think this guy just wanted people to feel less safe in the world. And in that way he knew he was guaranteed to succeed. Just my theory.

If I remember correctly, he had mo military training, wasn't a gun nut, etc., but was able to operate and cycle those weapons with near protection. With that many rounds, you're gonna get jams, misfeeds, etc., it seems like the person pulling this off would be more than a novice.

They honestly couldn't figure out one. The best I can figure is he had genetic aspd/psychopathy. His father was a bank robber who at one point was on the FBI's 10 most wanted. Brain analysis found no severe abnormalities which made it more confusing. He was a pedophile though as comp forensics found hundreds of images.
The brain examination was conducted by Dr. Hannes Vogel, the director of neuropathology at Stanford University. Dr. Vogel said he was able to perform an adequate evaluation, despite damage caused by Mr. Paddock’s fatal, self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

“With a good deal of screening, I didn’t see anything,” he said, that could explain why Mr. Paddock became a calculating mass killer.

I heard some about that. It went in to never, never land due to Saudi Big Money, the Crown Prince almost being assassinated, and Vegas Big Money wanting it all to go away.

He had 22 rifles in the room, 14 Ar15s, and 8 others that shot .308, if one jammed he just grabbed another one.

Because the only person that knew the motive was the shooter, and he is dead, most of the time it really is that simple
