I've seen more violent crimes in the quad.

Don’t look now, but LSU Police is reporting a SECOND attempted kidnapping unrelated to the one earlier this week, this time involving a delivery driver near Acadian Hall.
WTF?
WTF?

Incident LSU Police were notified on the night of 8/25/2022 of an attempted kidnapping/simple assault that occurred earlier in the day on campus near Acadian Hall. LSU Police met with the victim, who ordered food from a delivery service, and the encounter with the delivery person led to attempted kidnapping/simple assault. This remains an active investigation. If you have any information related to the incident, please contact LSU Police. Submit anonymous information to LSU Police or call directly at 225-578-3231. This incident is unrelated to the second degree kidnapping that was reported earlier this week, which is still under investigation and should be nearing a conclusion.

I’m kind of glad this is happening. People who voted for this need to feel the pain. Maybe LSU UREC needs to advertise for some midnight basketball.

LSU made a mistake by not asking to be part of St George. If they catch the perps, Broome will sit with them at their hearing.

Go ahead and interview Professors/Administrators on LSU's campus that voted for this. They will be more than happy to tell you that this is the fault of white supremacy.
NOTHING is going to change for the better. It is past time to accept this and cope with the incoming disaster.

What does that even mean?

I love LSU but sadly I'll probably encourage our youngest to go elsewhere for college. I don't want my then 18 yr old daughter living on her own for the fist time in Baton Rouge
It would have to be in one of those super expensive gated condos/apartments. She’d have to also be very aware of the situation going in before she commits to 4 years there.
If you teach your kid to be smart and pay attention to their surroundings and be familiar with the areas they’ll be fine. No students who drive to campus park their car go to class then go home are being affected here. These crimes aren’t random. They’re all related. What they need to do is crack down on admissions. Don’t let just anyone in.

They were all males unassigned to any particular race.
Or something like that.

I'm honestly surprised crime isn't worse around campus than it has been historically. The bottom is blocks from campus.
The foreign students that live at the Edward Gay apartment complex are truly in extreme danger.

If I’d known that was the last thing I’d say to Bubba, I would have thought of something better.

But hey, LSU’s profs are calling pedophiles MAP’s or “Minor Attracted Persons” now so there is good after all!

That cocksucker Robert Mann will throw down in order to be the first one to yell this from the rooftop

LSU sits adjacent to a ghetto. Literally yards away from the North Gates is ghetto. Then, you have the older apartments on the south side of campus becoming a ghetto, along with the main college bar area (Tigerland) being a complete slum. I'm a proud LSU alum. But I visit other campuses around the country and think why would a kid want to attend LSU when school x, y, z is such a nicer and safer place to attend college?
LSU is arguably the biggest draw to Baton Rouge. But if violent crime continues to increase on or around campus kids are going to chose to attend college elsewhere. A competent mayor, city council, and Governor would understand maintaining LSU as a desirable school to attend should be a MAJOR priority in the city. Unfortunately, the reality is the mayor and most of her ilk could not give any less of a shite in making sure LSU remains desirable.

I know this is the new PC term the Groomers are pushing, but do you have a link to this? I need a laugh.
