Indeed, she already came out right off with the ol' "he didn't do nothing" non-sense excuse. I am so sure he was just totally innocent in this. And of course he could have been sitting there wide open with a gun and she still probably would have been saying he didn't have a gun...credibility issues are rife with her.

I hear you. If you are able to fully comply.. then do it. It's not worth it to not.. I don't care if the cop is an ahole, just get through it.. even suck up if you have to.. because ultimately it's just not worth it otherwise.
However, not everyone may be able to fully comply.. whether it's physical or mental.. (again this is rare but it happens) I like to know was he on some sort of medication that was causing a reaction or a delayed response or odd behavior..
If he's in the car, by himself, there's really no one else around and his wife is pleading out there.
Why not have his wife go to his vehicle (if she isn't afraid to) and try to get a hold of him or the situation. Why didn't she just go in there and try to get a hold him. Heck, give her a pair of handcuffs to secure the man.
I'm just wondering.. if I had a family member, who may be influenced by drugs (not even illegal but prescription) and they are acting funny which may cause a fatal reaction by the police.. how about I plead to let me go get him safely out in plain view.. IDK.. They can even pat me down or frisk me first.
I don't know. I'm always grasping at alternatives.

If you're a cop it's going to get to the point where it's not worth it to even try to enforce the law. If you have to patrol the ghetto and see someone getting gang raped, oh well she shouldn't have been outside.

She has one hell of an attitube for someone's who's husband just got shot. And that's one really calm, cool and collected reaction...like she was hearing cha ching as soon as her noncomplying husband got shot.

This is what worries me. Who in their right mind wants this job now? Plus, the ones already hired may start ignoring crimes in "the community." In ten years we will be hearing about how racist cops won't patrol or protect black neighborhoods which is the same shite we heard in the late 80s and early 90s.

And I agree that this doesn't look good for the "victim." Not sure why the families lawyer would release it. The wife begging him "don't do it" is pretty convincing evidence that he was doing something he shouldn't have been doing.
