This video will change nothing.

People on the cops side won't change their mind.

The BLM people won't change their minds.

Hell he could have come out firing and screaming "All you pigs gonna die" and the BLM matter people wouldn't change their minds.

Video of Charlotte Police Shooting
Kind of useless video...except the part where the cop repeatedly says "drop the fricking gun".

Ageed, that part and the part where his wife repeatedly says "Don't do it Keith, Dont do it"

I have a hard time believing she didn't want him waving the "book" he supposedly had

I wonder what book he was reading? It was probably a binder full of his parole papers.

Unfortunately, you are absolutely right. Facts mean nothing now.

seems pretty disinterested in her husband; more like she's seeing internet fame.

Yep. Did they set this up for a few minutes of internet fame? The cops seemed to think he had a gun, and she was more interested in filming than preventing this.

This may be dumb or show my age but who is 12? I keep hearing the daughter say "frick 12"

I believe the phrase originated from a rap verse, meaning "frick the police."

I wonder if the cop who repeatedly said "drop the fricking gun" can tell the difference between a gun and a book? I often confuse the two.

frick this simple arse excuse.

If a cop has mistakened something in my hand for a gun and he's telling me MULTIPLE times to "drop it". Guess what? I'm dropping whatever is in my fricking hand, keeping them up, and not moving a fricking muscle until they tell me to do so. Why even give the cops an excuse to make a mistake if you're in that situation?

Call me a boot licker, but at least my arse would be alive after the fact.

Cops shot and killed 2 people in Tennessee last week. Didn't hear about it? Oh yeah, they were both white.

You're forgetting that there was more to this encounter than just this video. The reason the police got involved with this guy is because they saw him in the street with a gun. He then got back into his car, and at some point after that this video starts.

Does anyone else think it's weird that she's filming at all? Why would she film it unless she expected something to go down?

Anyone notice that the police aren't dressed in patrol uniforms?
Would this indicate that it wasn't a routine "pull over"? More of a warrant for arrest type scenario?
