Influencer who promoted virtues of fruit-only diet dies aged 39 'of malnutrition'

quote:

The 39-year-old claimed she had not drank water for six years, drinking fruit and vegetable juices instead.

quote:

“I eat simple food, although I have a lot of experience as a raw food chef,” she wrote on social media. “I love creating my own recipes and inspiring people to eat healthier.”

She boasted of eating no salt, oil or protein and insisted that she never caught a cold.

But her extreme dietary regime gradually began to take its toll and she died on July 21 in Malaysia.

Friend,

While sad, this is not a product of veganism but of an eating disorder which can just as well occur in someone who only eats meat. Veganism can be very healthy, and I am currently eating vegan and feeling great, walking 15-20 miles a day, and preparing for a summit of Shasta in a few weeks.

Yours,

Honestly with what a fruit loop she was it wouldnt surprise me if she was one of these “purebloods” that refused to get the vaccine and died of Covid. Really sad

All vegans go to hell too. That's going to suck.

This is anorexia. Someone should have intervened with this chick.

Veganism is a lie. I know a former vegan athlete who was as gung ho as they get, but recently quit being a vegan because he found that it was leaving him deficient and his body wasn't dealing with injuries as well. He also felt that he was getting more injuries as a result of deficiencies.

Fruit only? That’s waaaaay out of balance. One can be healthy with or without meat, but good protein and a variety of mineral and vitamin content is essential for any human diet.

You can’t eat just one thing, of anything. Not just broccoli or just meat or just fruit. That’s just intentional delusion.

THIS is the definition of irony.

On another note, it’s very sad.

Veganism will catch the headlines but it was anorexia/other stuff that caused her death. Veganism can be healthy but it takes a lot of discipline. I say this as I am eating a brisket taco for breakfast.

Friend,

Please stay on the trails at Panther Meadow and enjoy the sights and sounds.

The vegetation is fragile, taking years to regrow. It is a very sacred mountain and Panther Meadow even more so.
