Are they refusing to report certain coties the same way they do with crime stats?

Addicts are finally building a tolerance to fentanyl. This is good news, I guess

They don’t mention their theories as to why. Is it in the article?

Because it's election season and it's propaganda.

I've been told that this simply isn't possible in the dystopian hellscape that is Biden's America.

Might want to glance at the chart in the article

~70k in 2018 and 2019

Skyrockets to 100k or more from 2021 and on. But there was a small dip from 112k to 102k the last year.

It’d be like celebrating Biden for bringing gas prices down to $3.19 from $3.40 even though it was $2.25 when he took office

Well, when an addict ODs and dies, he can’t reproduce or buy no mo fentanyl. Either that or the availability of Narcan.

Probably due to Facebook Moms warning one another about Fentanyl candy being handed out by the bazillions to trick or treating kids....

I just need to know, does this mean it’s safe to try cocaine for the first time? I’ve been holding off because of the death part.

Good Ole government.

Its easy to bring something down after you pushed it to its highest limits ever.

On the clinical end, at least here in Kentucky, there’s a couple things I’ve noticed:

1. We’re on the other side of COVID isolation which makes it much easier to get people into treatment facilities and people are more willing to go as a result.

2. I know here in Kentucky, the Gov and state legislature allowed us to keep the expanded Telehealth options beyond the COVID emergency period. They wrote the expanded care into law forcing local insurers to cover it and its expanded treatment care into more rural areas as a result.

3. Harm reduction programs have become a bigger thing that’s actually decently funded as well. I know our practice and others have all received Narcan administration training and we keep it on site.

Lastly, I do think fentanyl as scared the shite out of some casual users.

Narcan?

Yes. There's a certain segment of the population who carry Narcan kits at all times. OD deaths are down. Fentanyl use is not down.

The pool of OD candidates is drying up. That’s my reasoning.

It averages out to 276 deaths per day. That more than a 737 max can carry. Trump should run an ad saying how long would it take the government to address a 737 crashing.
