much like your questions surrounding SapceX and whether the same people would support it if it was Bezos and Mitch, I wonder why you never made daily threads regarding fuel prices during the Biden admin?

It is like some of you have never been here before.

Bought diesel yesterday in SW Georgia. $6.29 per gallon. $5.49 to $5.59 in SE Alabama where I live. I assumed the difference is taxes. Thinking about going back to a gas burner. Gasoline hit $1 per gallon when I was a junior in HS - 1982-83. People lost their mind. Little did we know….

I paid $5.59 for diesel today in Fayetteville AR.

That is the highest I can ever recall paying. Under Biden I don't believe I ever paid more than around $5.30 a gallon.

Wait, are you saying blue states don't like excise taxes? States like Illinois fricking love them. I lived in Chicago for 20 years so I've seen their "creativity" in this space and it was one of many things that chased me to SC.

Not for nothing, Illinois loves other taxes of every kind as well...property, income, you name it.

I don't think that is what I said.

But I get you think all blue states are liberal states.

Oil prices are lower than they were under much of Biden’s term
If your boss paid 14% of your check, would you say you received much of your pay?

If 14% of your roof survived a hurricane, would you say much of your house remained covered?

If you answered 14% of a test correctly, would you tell people you knew much of the material?

If you lost 86% of your dick, would you say much of it remained?

Because “much” is doing some heavy fricking lifting in your post.

Oil was higher on only 141 of the 1,000 trading days during Biden’s presidency: 14.1%. Of those 141 days, 135 were during the February–August 2022 Russia-Ukraine oil shock. Oil was cheaper than it is now during the other 859 trading days, or 85.9% of his presidency.

That is one six-month global price shock, plus six scattered days, inflated in your memory until it somehow swallowed half a decade.

Congratulations. Propaganda has transformed a six-month period into four years in your mind. It's amazing how many people allow politicians and 'influencers' to outsource their memories for them.

There’s plenty of anti Trump v2 sentiment there. The die hard defenders are growing less by the month.

$6.20 a gallon is the all-time inflation adjusted high

That should be adjusted against wage inflation

Yeah, dissent has increased substantially over the last six months. I haven’t taken a head count, but it seems the die-hards have gone from a supermajority to a plurality at best. The remaining core spends most of their time lashing out, or, dare I say, sky-screaming.

Trump is too weak.

He had the Dems hanging on the ropes but he just can't land any blows that would knock them out.

To keep the sports metaphors going, his problem isn’t that he can’t land a punch. It’s that he leads the league in own goals.

Part of the reason we aren’t doing anything this year, the biggest part however is it is hotter than hell outside…..

Saying anything negative about Trump still gets ratio’d

People are more concerned with not being wrong rather than recognizing reality, almost the exact dysphoria they like to whine about with trannies.
