Oil prices are lower than they were under much of Biden’s term, so take up record gas prices with the greedy oil companies.

I watch a lot of political/economic doom porn and some of these guys have saying for months that a diesel crisis is right on top of us.

I mean, it is and has been on top of us. Demand destruction is well in place now.

Jet, just an offshoot of diesel, had been high for 6 months or so. Airlines quickly raised prices and cut flights to mitigate.

If you can’t afford gas you should work harder

You know who works hard and doesn’t complain about gas prices? The millions of h1bs that Trump is bringing in

Where are you finding live crawfish this time of year?

A bit of trivia:

California crawfish season starts when the LA season ends and runs through mid-October. They produce both red and signal crawfish.

Paid $7.49/g for diesel in Cali last weekend. It's getting closer to $8 now.

Before you all go nuts about the mention of California - that's were a solid majority of produce and imports come into the country. This affects everything on your shelves.

Filled up this morning at $9.69 per gallon. There are probably cheaper stations on my route but the frau at this station is a smoke show.

Gas prices and crawfish farmers are the biggest con artists going.

I thought the announcement of the big Venezuela deal would lower prices but what do I know.

Venezuela is a mid to long-term play at best. Their O&G industry is a clusterfrick right now. None of the big boys are willing to dump the CAPEX needed into that hole. The multinationals were unwilling to put up the money so we are stuck with NABEP which may or may not work out at any level. For reference, just to match what we get from Canada, Venezuela would have to 6X production.

I like the Venezuela play, but at the same time I would never shite on a current supplier when the replacement I was eyeing is years out from being able to replace them.

much like your questions surrounding SapceX and whether the same people would support it if it was Bezos and Mitch, I wonder why you never made daily threads regarding fuel prices during the Biden admin?

Not sure if they were daily but these have been around for years.

I used to have a bunch of bookmarks where O&G ceo's were going nuts that we would gave $100 oil in 6 months.
