Oil prices are lower than they were under much of Biden’s term, so take up record gas prices with the greedy oil companies.

Republicans told me that was just Biden's commie excuse for being a feckless, ineffectual leader.

Is this just Trump's commie excuse for being a feckless, ineffectual leader?

You people are a mess. He’s been making the same kinds of threads for years from mostly the same sources. Sometimes it’s good news and sometimes it’s bad news.

Gas prices and crawfish farmers are the biggest con artists going.

What is or who is a gasoline con artist?

They are all right there in his post history. You don't have to try and recall.

The "market." There is shiteload of domestic oil in this country to last a VERY long time. We are too dependent on foreign petroleum, and should be energy independent. Its a joke. Notice we never see who sets these prices, just like the crawfish con men. Its a "Who's on First" routine that will never be answered. Don't want to hear about supply and demand BS. Plenty enough to go around.

Promises made, promises swept under the rug and pretend the promises were never made.

We were promised America would be made great again. Instead, all we got was another war in the Middle East, trillions more in debt, friction with our allies, rising gas prices and a booming military industrial complex.

The deep state won. Some people are too brainwashed by Trump to realize he's an asset to them.

That’s cool and all, but as has been noted in here many times, many of our refineries need foreign grades of oil.

Blaming gas prices on the president throughout history has pretty much been a really dumb argument. The president has had little to do with the price of gas... until now. Trump's war is a director correlation to the rising gas prices.

So not only did he not "end the war in Ukraine before I take office", he started another one. Brilliant.

There is a very public market for this and billions in tracking done.

You can see all the Asian trading houses swooping in right now.

Wisconsin: $3.80
Iowa: $3.87
Missouri: $3.82
Indiana: 3:45

Illinois: $4.32

What liberals and progressives refuse to understand is that GOVERNMENT TAXES INCREASE OUR COST OF LIVING.

This is where we should agree. If your gas prices are way above areas or states near you, start blaming your local government.

How do so few people understand that oil companies don't set the prices you pay at the pump? It's honestly perplexing.

For everyone:

quote:

No single oil company sets the retail price of gas at the pump.Instead, gas prices are driven by global commodity markets, refining costs, local competition, and taxes. Oil companies are "price takers" rather than "price makers" in a massive worldwide market.

It's a road tax. You can chose to pay it at the pump or pay it through the general fund.

Liberals usually aren't the ones that supporting excise taxes on consumers.
