Probably happens on most SEC campuses every weekend
I had a buddy that got wrapped in something similar , and it was dropped when he showed all the texts and pics the girl had sent him. How she was looking foward to getting “drunk and dirty” with him. Luckily it was initially kept on the DL so his side could come out.
The guys life is fricked now, no matter what. The girl could just be regretful of what she did, and no one will ever know who she is.
ETA: just saw the update, dude is fricked. Though my post still has merit in many situations. I lack sympathy when it comes to girls that get hammered and then regretful, and can ruin a guys life.

Not surprising a Delta Chi named phoenix gave her monkeypox
Delta Chi is still the UN of fraternities

Yup yup. I could be misremembering, but I want to say it once upon a time made reference to pretending to be someone’s spouse, but they decided it needed to be a bit more broad

Third-degree rape generally refers to sexual intercourse without lawful consent, often occurring when a victim is incapable of consenting due to intoxication, mental incapacity, or when the act involves a minor, varying by state.
So...they were both drunk, but he was capable of consenting?

This clarifies every fact in this story now.
Yes, they're now saying there was alcohol involved and she caught herpes or something.

I wouldn’t be surprised when all the information comes out that we come back to this post and that is exactly what happened. My buddy’s son told us a story about one of his fraternity brothers breaking up with his girlfriend. The girl went crazy and was yelling at him outside the fraternity houses and told the guy she was going to tell the detailed officers at one of the fraternities that he hit her. He looked at her confused and said I didn’t hit you. She looked back at him and said who do you think they are going to believe. That kid smoothed it over and waited for her to leave and then never spoke to her again. He dodged a bullet.

This stuff happens because college culture has been sexualizing sorority girls for decades.
When you have a culture built around 18-19 year old girls dressing and acting promiscuously in clubs, there’s zero chance that isn’t going to attract guys who can’t control themselves.

investigators found a voice message that was sent to Hernandez’s roommate. The recording was sent on April 3, describing having sexual relations with the victim in an alleged boastful manner.
I’m guessing that bragging about banging a passed out chick wasn’t worth ruining his life.

Baws, you have to get them to sign a consent form.
Signature is void if she is drunk.
It sounds like they were both drunk. How can rape be proved and who actually did the raping?

I’ve never understood how two people can be drunk/hammered and have no recollection of the night but only the male is held to any sort of standard when they have sex.
I know it’s very likely this due is a scum bag given the uncovered text messages, just making an overall observation.

quote:Maybe he is a scumbag. But what if he drunk texted or drunk called a buddy and bragged. Sometimes, two drunk people do things they regret and have sex. Just because only one of them regret it shouldn’t make it rape. Bad decisions, sure, but not necessarily rape.

Yeah i always wondered about that one. They're both drunk and both unable to consent. Its as if we are responsible for our actions while drunk unless female. Not saying that this is the case in this specific instance but I've always thought there were some cases where it seemed like regretting mutually drunk sex and the dude gets hit with all of the blame.
Did this dude rape a girl who was passed out? Its kind of unclear how it states she was passed out outside of his room.

I’m glad they didn’t have these laws at LSU in the 90’s.

They don't mess around anymore. If she's drunk then it's pretty much rape.
