I wouldn’t be surprised when all the information comes out that we come back to this post and that is exactly what happened. My buddy’s son told us a story about one of his fraternity brothers breaking up with his girlfriend. The girl went crazy and was yelling at him outside the fraternity houses and told the guy she was going to tell the detailed officers at one of the fraternities that he hit her. He looked at her confused and said I didn’t hit you. She looked back at him and said who do you think they are going to believe. That kid smoothed it over and waited for her to leave and then never spoke to her again. He dodged a bullet.

In my opinion everything needs to be discussed with all parties prior to the passing of said person. It cuts down on surprises. They might still be pissed off but I think it’s better to discuss everything openly

Agreed. I have reservations and I want all of us to be on the same page. I also want to be upfront about her expectations and my expectations. I don’t plan to become a babysitter and will administer the tough love they aren’t getting now. It is really a sad situation.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a Baton Rouge Estate Attorney to help setup a trust for my mom and her 3 kids? I’ve had a few friends who have gone through a nightmare lately with their siblings fighting over their parents wishes and assists. I want to make sure we have everything documented and planned out so when the time comes there are no questions on my mom’s wishes. My mom is feeling overwhelmed and doesn’t know where to start. I’ve watched Tommy Mikala (Delivrd) on YouTube negotiate deals and you should never pay any of the add ons. You just need to call enough dealers to get the right one and play them against each other. Never go to the dealership to negotiate. Do it all over the phone.
