I don’t know how I’ve never heard of the Cajun Ninja until recently. I’m actually making two CN recipes this week. Tomorrow I am going to try the chicken sauce piquante recipe and switch out the chicken for deer meat and Friday I’m going to try the crawfish pie recipe. Cajun Ninja - what ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
I highly recommend you get a sausage stuffer. I spend a couple years stuffing through the grinder and it's a game changer
Ok, I'm sold. I found a 11lb sausage stuffer on Walton's for $199. I will probably get the cabelas grinder and that stuffer....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
Homemade Boudin and Deer Sausage - Casing Question - zx24 on 1/30/20 at 11:57 am
I plan to process my deer for the first time at home. I am planning on buying the 3/4 HP grinder from Cabelas and use it to grind the meat and stuff the sausage casings. I've watched a few videos on both, but wanted thoughts on which casing to use on both. I was planning on using edible collagen...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (4)

I'm not looking to buy a new rifle for this season. He wants to go our to the lease and try one more time this year for his first deer. I just want to make sure I am reading the regulation right and that he can hunt with my 30-06 during primitive firearm season. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Tonneau recommendations? - zx24 on 1/16/20 at 12:02 pm
I have the truxedo Toneau cover on my F150 and for the past 6 years it has been great. It has kept my bed dry and I like the ability to roll it up to allow for transporting larger items in the back of my truck. I put weather stripping down and that is what helps ensure the truck bed stays dry. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
Primitive Firearm Season and Youth Hunters - zx24 on 1/16/20 at 11:48 am
I was reading the Louisiana hunting regulations and it looks like youth (17 and under) hunters can hunt deer with any legal weapon during primitive firearm season, is that correct? I was going to take my son out this weekend, but wanted to make sure I was understanding the law before doing so. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (3)

Deer Processing at home - zx24 on 12/30/19 at 3:52 pm
How many people on the board process their own deer meat? I'm wanting to try processing my own deer meat this year, but was curious if it is worth the hassle. Looking to do sausage, snack sticks, ground meat, etc... When deboning your meat how much time do you spend cutting out the sinew, fat an...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (11)
