The Revellie’s title says it was a hit and run. It is odd that the story mentions the driver not being ticketed and not leaving the scene.

Our dog tore its ACL when it was 4 years old. The quote was 5-8k to fix it. The kids really wanted us to get it fixed, so we said we can fix it or go to Disney World. We had a great time at Disney World. The dog learned how to live with it and is doing fine.

I bought a GMC Sierra at Rainbow GMC and the experience was fine. I went to Hood Chevrolet first and they wouldn’t budge on their prices for their trucks. This was December 2022. I went to Rainbow GMC and they were more than willing to work with me and I was able to get a nicer truck for a lot less than what was at Hood Chevrolet. I would call around and figure out which dealership will give you the best deal.
I’ve watched Tommy Mikala (Delivrd) on YouTube negotiate deals and you should never pay any of the add ons. You just need to call enough dealers to get the right one and play them against each other. Never go to the dealership to negotiate. Do it all over the phone.

Did the other driver leave without police supervision? If so, I’m sure the defense is going to be they were nervous after the accident and had a few drinks and smoked some weed to help with their anxiety.
I remember years ago a city attorney with Mandeville, got in a wreck and left the scene of the accident and went to a bar and ordered a glass of wine with a date/time stamp receipt. I believe they were able to get out of the DUI by doing that.

What the hell is going on at St Tammany Parish Hospital and the safety of their employees? A few years ago a RN was killed by getting hit by a vehicle walking from the employee parking lot. Now the St Tammany Parish Hospital transport van hits their own employee as she was walking into work and now she is in the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Every hospital in Louisiana’s plan of action for the nursing situation has been to put a bandaid over a shotgun wound
It doesn’t help that they laid off a bunch of people recently. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
