They have been calling me for property in East Tennessee I do not even own. It belongs to my father (SR.) I always give them an outlandish price and they hang up. lol.

Just tell them the following “absolutely it’s for sale! I’ll need $1 million per acre, that’s 1 million cleared NOT before taxes. So you figure up what the taxes will be and pay that as long as I get my one million per. Also you pay all attorney and closing fees. I will not breakup any land, you must buy all 750 acres and I’ll throw in my house.”

Did Stacy call you? She had a crew in my neighborhood Saturday and wanted to know if I would like my trees trimmed.
My little gem magnolias said no.

This thread reminded me of a text I got from one of these assholes, and they actually responded.

My personal favorites are the unsolicited calls from local area agents telling me they can get top of market, and then trying to ask me questions about my house they would know if they did the slightest bit of research.

Also - those texts are the people trying to buy your house for cash for 40-50% below market so they can flip it.

I get them as well but for a house I do not own in Florida.

I always respond with the “number” it’s going to take. I know it’s probably a scam lead generator but my house is always for sale at the right price.

Well, that certainly is ambitious for a double-wide…

They want to buy my property in states where I dont own any. It is a scam and they should never get your response.

I have spoken to some. They all want to know how old the roof, A/C, and paint job are. They want the kitchen remodeled and to have newer double paned windows. They want you to accept 10 % less than home value, then subtract from that price the cost of everything they want to upgrade.

I guess they are looking for desperate people.

Those places are looking to get you over a barrel. They want people who will sell super low because they are desperate and they can stand to make a profit even after whatever necessary repairs are made. Stay away.

Yeah, most of it is just throwing shite at a wall looking to take advantage of a desperate, usually older person.

I get a lot about property I own in Pensacola Florida but 50 times more about the apartment I simply rent in Brooklyn.

It's a numbers game usually what happens is someone wants to sell quickly without doing any work. If I can get a discount to make that happen I buy the house if not on to the next one. I can assure you that no one that knows anything about real estate is going to take 30k off the purchase price and do the work for 2 reasons 1. Me doing the work isn't free and 2. If you do the work and its include in the purchase price it adds a few thousand to the down payment and goes into the loan. If I do the work after closing it costs me 30k.
