Should we actively monitor all universities revenue streams and lower taxes based on donations and other revenue streams?

I actually think this is a good idea if the kids earned it. Although I think there needs to be a sliding scale of support not some hard cut off

UT Endowment reached $31 billion earlier this year. Now, the second largest. UT also easily have the largest number of billionaire alumni. Massive, massive deep pockets..
The UT President said this is their first step to try to be the first public university to model the ivy's pay whatever you can afford model. Good for them...

Good. Its getting tiring seeing these schools with massive endowments that never get touched constantly up their tuition as well. I mean I get it-they get guaranteed gubment check in the form of student loans so why not send tuition soaring, but that doesnt make the schools any better than other leaches off the government.
