It looks like the 2600 block starts right there around Mead so close to that. If we'd have eaten lunch 30 minutes later I'm sure I'd have heard it or seen it.

Should have gone to Podnuh's. Better view.

You are own your own when entering Baton Rouge.

Both Mayor Broome and Chief Murphy Paul have collectively created a massive chilling effect within the rank and file front line Officers and the criminal element knows it. There is no fear of arrest let alone prosecution.

Their constant identity politics have finally caught up to them.

Routinely calling for the termination of Officers in advance of Due Process, over use of administrative and restrictive duty when digital evidence readily exist to exonerate false claims of abuse, lack of man power in critical crime fighting divisions (Homicide especially) at the expense of over crowding Community Outreach and Internal Affairs, and my favorite repeated efforts to increase the pay of only select Commanders while rank and file Officers continue to remain some the lowest paid in the State.

Sick and tired of crime? Show up December 5th and be heard.

They were yesterday but I'd let him go if that's how it went down.

My guess is a relative of the owner that saw what was going down and popped the robber as he was trying to get away

I just found out the store owner's son is a friend of my son, and I met him at my home not long ago. Absolutely terrible.

Yeah, SWB is going a great job, but the idiot liberals will vote for her, just because. LSU has become a cancer to this community.

what could anyone possibly gain by robbing a cell phone store?

i can't imagine they keep a lot of cash on hand. and all the phones can be tracked or traced and made inoperable.
