We used to eat at Bamboo House quite often. It’s a shame on what’s happening in the area

The Advocate is saying it happened at the cell phone store (Wise Communications I guess?) and the owner is one of the dead. I think it's next to that Sherwood Poboy place so it's on the same side of the street as Canes.

The amount of homeless people is insane. There is an encampment with tons of trash next to the chainlink fence behind the Exxon Circle K near the westbound I12 entrance ramp.
In fact, just last Sunday I passed by and saw 2 or 3 homeless people giving each other their flu shots.

Apparently there are a few abandoned cars in the Sherwood/I-12 area. That's what caused this.
And to think.....This horrendous crime took place within about 2.5 miles of Sharon's brand new high tech crime prevention center.

It seems like it was actually not across the street. I just Google mapped 2600 Sherwood and that's where it put me. If you know the Sherwood Poboy place next to Canes that always looks closed. It was at the cell phone store on the other side of that it seems.
