Does anyone have a good recommendation for someone in BR to mount a TV? It’s going to require putting a hole(s) in the sheet rock in order to hide the wires. Also, what kind of cost am I looking at to get this done?

I don't know the materials should be less than $50.

It is one of the easiest DIY projects out there. Just get one on amazon and install it

Do it yourself. Be sure you find studs to anchor the bracket in.

relatively easy to saw out a portion of sheetrock and drop wires in the wall... only problem would come in if there is a firebreak that you are trying to get underneath.... if so, you have to cut away that part of the sheetrock too to be able to drill a hole in the firebreak to pass the wires through...

insulation can be a bitch too, but if you get a wire hanger and tape the wires to it and then guide the wires down the wall from top to bottom, it can be done pretty simply....

if no firebreak, go get some glow sticks, tape one to the end of the wires you are dropping (so you can see the ends of the wires), get a wire hanger and make a hook to be able to hook/grab the wires you dropped in the wall and pull them out, and saw a small portion of sheetrock out along side the stud... then drop the wires from top to bottom, fish them out the wall, and you are done....

and for a really clean look, use something like this.... requires 3 HDMI cables, but still....

Just call the neighborhood handyman, run you about $50.

You can get a good wall mount at Harbor freight for $20.

Go to your local hardware store (not home depot) and ask for reference for a handyman. They should have someone they can recommend and it will cost about $75/$100 + materials.
