With such an old design with few meaningful changes since 2007, these should be the most deeply discounted trucks on the market. But of course, they are not.
Sure, not reason to incorporate supply/demand or cost of ownership into a market price

I always purchase a new truck right before the end of the year because they are more willing to make a deal. MSRP on my truck which was a 2018 TSS 4x4 crewmax with all of the blacked out trim as well as the black rims etc was $48999 or something like that and I got them down to $41000. in addition they also completely payed off my 2015 Tundra.

I paid more than MSRP because its a Toyota and I knew it would last longer.

I would expect you could get as much as 5K off MSRP on a Tundra, but probably more likely between 3-4K.

You really think the salesman at the car dealership is being honest with you?

The BR Dealerships are a waste of time, especially Team, don't waste your time. Toyota Of New Orleans was great to deal with, they have an online best price, it was about 6k under MSRP on 2018 Limited. We purchased from there, next place would have been the Houston dealers, they will negotiate also.

In 2007 the dealer didn't budge from the sticker, and it's still the best legal purchase I've made.

I’ve bought 3 F-150s over last 8 years and always end up around $10k off MSRP

So I just bought a Highlander. $45,000ish MSRP. Went to Price LeBlanc and then phone negotiations with Team and All Star. Price just straight tried to frick me. No negotiations really. Only willing to come off about $2500. Team was around $3500. All Star came off around $4500. This was over about a weeks of back and forth with dipshit salesmen. Out the door was a little less than the MSRP. Watch out for the butt fricking the finance manager tries to throw you, sweet Jesus that was an insane amount of shite he tried to sell.

Facelifted design coming out for 2019. They are moving them out, in Houston.

I wonder if that's still the case. About 10 years ago thats all people talked about was going to Houston to buy a new car because the big lots were willing to wheel and deal.
Now with 1.2Million cars flooded during Harvey and most of those people bought brand new cars now. They should be back to wheeling and dealing.
